Code of Conduct
RideWarriors Club
Members of the RideWarriors club are
expected to abide by this code of conduct to ensure the club and the website is
always represented in a positive manner. Members attending RideWorld
sponsored events or using their RW membership to attend park sponsored
enthusiast events should be aware they are representing the club and the
website as a whole. Members found to be in violation of this code are subject
to Disciplinary Procedures that could lead to having their membership suspended
or terminated.
Safety
1.) Safety is TOP PRIORITY of the club. Members must ALWAYS abide by any
rules and regulations set forth by a park. This includes verbal, written, and
posted rules. If a RideWorld member is found to have
broken a park rule or regulation, their conduct is subject to review by the
club’s membership committee which could result in termination of membership.
2.) A safety violation can include but is not limited to: Standing up on a
ride, defeating safety restraints in any way, violating a no camera policy
onboard a ride, riding while intoxicated, or trespassing on park property at
any time.
3.) If a club member has been banned by any park due to a violation of a park’s
safety rules, RideWorld staff members will conduct their
own investigation into the matter. If there is sufficient evidence of any
safety violation, the member will have their membership terminated.
Attending Events
1.) When attending ANY enthusiast event as a RideWorld
member, please remember that you are representing the club and the website.
Members are expected to conduct themselves in a manner becoming of a lady or
gentleman.
2.) If you are representing RideWorld at a media day,
you must dress professionally and act accordingly. Proper attire does NOT
include shorts, t-shirts, and sandals. Please keep this in mind when you agree
to attend park media events as RideWorld
representatives.
3.) If a member is found to act inappropriately at any event where they are
representing RideWorld, he/she will be subject to
disciplinary action that could include suspension or termination of membership.
4.) If any Ridewarrior member invites a guest to an
event using their club membership, he/she will be held responsible of the guest
violates any park safey rules and regulations. This
could include termination of membership.
Membership Approval
1.) When a perspective member applies to become a member of the RideWarriors club, they are subject to a 30 day
“probationary” period. During this period, their membership application is
examined by the membership committee. If there is reason to believe that any
applicant has broken park safety rules or has been known to have been
disciplined by a park for violating safety rules, their RideWorld
membership will be revoked and their member dues will be refunded. If this
occurs after the 30 day probationary period, their membership dues will NOT be
refunded.
